COMPLETION OF THE EYFS PROFILE SUMMARIES (FOR PVIS AND CHILDMINDERS)

Event description This supportive session:

- is aimed at those practitioners who are responsible for the assessment of reception-aged children
  (who will be five years old by 31 August 2019) and who are:
     . Less experienced / less confident in the completion of EYFSP Profile summaries and / or of the data entry process onto the Excel
       spreadsheet prior to submission to the local authority
     . Working within a PVI setting
     . Childminders

- will provide small-group support to relevant practitioners:
     . with making accurate EYFSP judgements for their individual children – using all the relevant knowledge and information available
       to them
     . to gain familiarity with the EYFSP data-entry process onto the Excel spreadsheet prior to submission to the local authority

Colleagues are required to bring the following documentation:
- EYFSP Handbook 2019
- EYFSP National Exemplification Materials
- EYFS Characteristics of Effective Learning (p6-7 of EYFS Development Matters)
- Three children’s learning journeys / profiles (hardcopy or electronic)
- Any other relevant assessment information pertaining to the children
