Who can access the training:
We will be prioritising bookings and offering to staff first who currently do data entry on eStart or need read only access to eStart for their job role.

We will be delivering this training online. Those that attend will need to have access to a computer, Microsoft Teams and an email. You will also need a quiet place where you can work uninterrupted.

To access this training course you will receive a Microsoft Teams invitation. Please check your emails to make sure you accept the training invite.

Course Description:

This course is for users of eStart who currently use eStart to find out who is accessing  Children Centre services and for story-catching.  All training will take place virtually on Microsoft Teams. This course will:

  • Provide an overview of EISi and how it is set up and what you can do on the system

  • Show you how to search for families on the system

  • Provide an overview of Children Centres - how you view Children Centres data, how you view activities and sessions on EISi

  • Children Centre Session Schedule

  • Give you an overview of new Children Centre barcode system

  • Advanced search function – show you how to create and maintain your own lists

During the training session you will be expected to fully participate in the session and search for data onto the system. You will need to be able to dedicate your time the session and practice searching for data onto the system.
