Event description

We will be delivering this safeguarding refresher training online.

Those that attend will need to have access to a computer and an email.  We advise not to use your mobile phone as there will be some interaction surveys/quiz to complete.  You will also need a quiet place where you can work uninterrupted. Please keep your emails up-to-date as we sent a Microsoft Teams invitation.

Once we confirm your place you will receive an MS Teams invitation.

If you can’t see the MS Teams invitation in your email in box please check your junk/spam inbox for training confirmation/invitation therefore please make sure your email is correct on your Ealing CPD Online account.

To join the meeting on the day you don’t have to download the MS Teams app you would just need to open your email invitation and click on the link to join the training.  When you click on the link you will be asked to type in your name and then wait to be invited to join by the host.

Venue: via MS Teams online

All Designated Safeguarding Leads in Early Years settings in Ealing are expected to attend this training. If your setting gets inspected by Ofsted and if your designated to safeguarding lead has NOT attended this training course you will be judged as INADEQUATE. This training does not need refreshing if DSLs and Deputy DSLs are getting regular updates through taking other safeguarding courses and through attending regular DSL network meetings.

Cost Description
Free to all Early Years settings and childminders (cancellation fee for non-attendance on the day, see below)

Please note we can only offer one place per setting, if a delegate is unable to attend for any reason, we must receive a cancellation via or to more than 4 days before the course date. This will give us time to reallocate the space to someone on the waiting list or you can substitute staff from your setting.
Please note: If we do not receive notification of cancellation your school/setting/organisation within our terms, ie 4 days prior to event date, will be liable to pay a non-attendance fee.
