We will be delivering this DSL Network for childminders only online.
Those that attend will need to have access to a computer and an email. We advise not to use your mobile phone as there will be some interaction surveys/quiz to complete. You will also need a quiet place where you can work uninterrupted. Please keep your emails up-to-date as we sent a Microsoft Teams invitation.
Once we confirm your place you will receive an MS Teams invitation. Venue: via MS Teams online
Opportunity to meet you statutory requirements of the EYFS 2021 to update and strengthen you safeguarding and child protection skills and knowledge throughout the year.
This network will provide opportunity for you to further strengthen your knowledge and practice in local and national guidance and legislation pertaining to Safeguarding and Child Protection.

Training objectives |
Outcomes: By the end of the course, participants will know: ' Develop an understanding of the role and responsibilities of the designated safeguarding lead person ' Have an overview of the legal framework and guidance that apply to safeguarding children ' Develop an awareness of the actions and procedures to follow to meet Ealing/Government Guidance ' Understand the principles and purpose of recording ' Know what to do and how to respond to concerns about a child |
