Event description | Online Training via Microsoft Teams. Preferable access via a laptop/pc. This workshop will give an overview of the MARAC (Multi-Agency-Risk-Assessment-Conference). The MARAC is a meeting where information is shared on the highest risk domestic abuse cases between representatives of local police, health, child protection, housing practitioners, Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVAs) and other specialists from the statutory and voluntary sectors. |

Training objectives | • The dynamics of domestic violence • What constitutes a high risk domestic violence case, having considered how to complete the CAADA-DASH RIC • The scope and purpose of the MARAC, including how the MARAC fits alongside the on-going risk reduction work of frontline agencies • How to refer to the MARAC | ||
