Event description This session is delivered by Ealing Early Start Speech and Language Therapy Team.

On this bite sized course, you will learn:


  • Learn 30 Makaton signs in our two-hour training session

  • With Makaton, signs are used alongside speech in spoken word order. This helps provide extra clues about what someone is saying.

  • Using signs can help children who have no/little speech or whose speech is unclear as well as children whose language is developing typically.

  • Training will be provided by an official Makaton Tutor



This training is free and accessible via zoom and can be accessed from the comfort of your own home!

We also ask that each participant joins from one screen. If multiple participants are planning to join from the same service or household, please sign up to the workshop individually.
